Shiori walked through the doors of the third music room with her mind focused somewhere else. It was time for her usual visit to the club, but for some reason she couldn’t seem to give the club her complete attention like she really wanted to. She was worried about something that even she didn’t know. A soft sigh left her mouth as she stood against the door frame. It was always an enjoyable thing for her to pay a visit to this place, it was designed for an escape from the outside world. So why couldn’t she do that right now?
Her brown eyes scanned the room as she twirled a lock of hair around her index finger. A cute smile finding its way to her mouth as she started to relax a bit once she just stopped focusing on whatever it was that kept bugging her. She looked at all the other girls in the room, most of them were very lovely young ladies that were normal. Too bad Shiori wasn’t like those ladies, she was a girl with a different way of thinking. Often she just wanted to have fun and laugh with other people, but never had the time to really build any relationships since she had to take care of Kiyoko while her father was working. Coming to the host club was one of the few releases she had from her stressful life now days.

Tatsuya found himself sitting in the host club, being rather bored out of his mind. Like most days he was surrounded by girls asking him questions, and the likes, but, he just wasn't into it today. Maybe it was because Donghae, his puppy, was sick and he felt bad leaving him alone, since his mother was working, and his aunt was too busy to take care of the dog. Heck, maybe it was because he himself just wasn't feeling all that great either. He didn't know.
So, he excused himself for a moment to go get a cup of tea, and couldn't help but notice the girl at the door. Tatsuya had seen her before, around school and the host club, but didn't know her name. She wasn't one of his customers. She looked like she was just spacing out, and throwing a glance at the girls sitting where he had moment ago, he figured they could wait. He walked over to the girl, his quest for tea all but forgotten as he did so. "Miss? Can I help you?" He asked politely.

Shiori jumped a bit when she heard someone speak to her. She turned her head to see that it was one of the hosts of the club. A bright red color flushed to her cheeks as she quickly turned away to gain her composure. He was so cute, but the brunette haired woman often had a difficult time really connecting with hosts. In truth she was known in the club for bouncing around even though she was a regular. It wasn't something that she was proud to admit, however it was the truth so it was something that couldn't be denied either.
After a couple of deep breaths Shiori turned back around and smiled softly at him. "Sorry, I was just thinking." She could feel her heart pounding in her chest and it sounded like a loud roar in her ears. Just being near someone she was even slightly attracted to often left Shiori flustered and uncertain, but it didn't stop her from being social with them.
Looking around the teen noticed that there was a very heated glare coming from the girls that she had been looking at. It was rather obvious that she interrupted their visit with the man in front of her. While she liked that she got such a response from them, it also made her feel a bit guilty. "It seems that your guests are waiting impatiently."

Tatsuya quirked an eyebrow a little, watching the girl jump and blush. He waited while she seemed to calm herself before turning around again, saying she was just thinking. "You just looked a little... lost is all." He told her, giving a small smile, hopefully in reassurance that he wasn't... Well, anyone to be nervous about.
He followed the girls gaze to the few girls he had previously excused himself from to get tea. He turned back to face her, a shiver running down his spine. Honestly, most of his customers scared him, just a little. Especially the third years, who honestly fawned over him like he was some celebrity, even though he was two years younger than they were. It was weird...
"They'll live." Tatsuya said instead, throwing a cute smile towards the girls, before turning back to the girl in front of him, rolling his eyes as he did so. Honestly, he didn't understand what was so great about himself. He knew he was attractive - he heard if enough on a daily basis - but, still.

He was very cute which was something that obviously made him a member of the host club. Shiori really didn't know what to do, or even say for a moment when he smiled at her. She almost wanted to stop breathing the more she was around him, but the dark glare from one of the ladies that were looking at them brought her back to reality. She offered him a soft smile in return. She really didn't like that she was keeping him from his other guest, but she liked being in his company as well. In truth for just the few moments she was standing here she wasn't certain of what to do, so she decided on a rather simple solution.
"Perhaps we should get some tea and sit with your other guests." Her face flushed a bright red color again. Shiori never in her all her time as a guest in the host club invited a member to sit with her, it had always been the other way around. In truth she felt like she was being rude, and her nerves were getting the better of her. She was normally so much braver than what she was portraying at the current time, but then again she had been purposely avoiding Tatsuya since he joined the host club.
They were the same age, but she was placed in the class above the blonde back in middle school because her father felt that she wasn't being challenged enough by her teachers. So being around someone that was almost from a past that she had forgotten about flustered her a bit. Not to mention the small crush that had developed for him over the last few months that he had been in the club. She just didn't like to make her feelings very evident around him. Too bad her nerves seemed to be deciding differently today.

Tatsuya stood, almost awkwardly - something he wasn't used to - as he waited for a reply from the other, nodding a little at the offered idea. "That sounds lovely." Usually it probably would have been him offering a seat to the lady, but, hey, why not mix it up a little?
So, as he gestured for her to follow him to the tea cart he smiled a little, not bothering to look over at his other guests. They would just be annoyed that there would be another girl to take his attention away from themselves. They were rather selfish girls, Tatsuya had noticed over the past few months of being a host.
"Ah, I never introduced myself properly." He though aloud, looking almost embarrassed about it. Not that it was something to be embarrassed about, but, Tatsuya had been raised a gentleman. The type that would hold open doors for a girl, or offer to carry her bag or books. In other words, he was opposite of most teenage boys. "I'm Sugihara Tatsuya, and you are?" He asked. Whether she knew his name or not, he felt the need to introduce himself, more so as a person than a host.

Shiori followed behind Tatsuya without hesitation. She came to realize that her responses were rather slow when it came to speaking with him. As the moments ticked by though she grew to relax in the blonde's company. She looked at the tea cart with an air of security. With all the time that she spent in the host club the teen could nearly name every brand and style of tea that was offered. She watched as two cups of the warm liquid was poured from the ceramic teapot.
"Sugihara Tatsuya. That's a very lovely name Tacchan." Her cheeks flushed as she realize that she used his nickname. In truth she already knew who he was, but never bothered to say anything. Most of the ladies in the school knew the names of the host club members though so she could easily pass that off as her explanation if he wondered how she knew it. "My name is Akiyama Shiori."
She took one of the available cups of tea and went over to the area that the angry girls sat. Her steps were graceful and she moved with what many would assume to be as confidence. She sat on one of the available places of to the side and away from the other ladies that surrounded her. There were hushed whispers among the girls, but Shiori just ignored them. It wasn't the first time that she angered girls by coming in for a visit.

Tatsuya stayed silent whilst pouring the tea, listening to Shiori. He sort of raised an eyebrow at the use of his nickname under his fringe - he was used to the girls just being Sugihara-san this, and Tatsuya-kun this. The use of a nickname was quite refreshing, not to mention uncommon around the school for some reason. Sure, his aunt called him that on occasion, but, that was it. He also noted the flush of her cheeks again as she used the nickname; noted it, but, didn't think much of it.
"Shiori," Tatsuya mumbled, repeating the name. "You have a very lovely name as well, Shiori-chan. It fits such a lovely lady." He spoke, not so much in 'host mode' as he liked to put it, but, because he honestly thought so. He had a habit of ending up lying to many of the girls, but, he highly doubted he would have to lie to her.
Once she had accepted the tea, he poured his own and returned to his designated hosting area of the room. "Sorry to take so long." He apologized - a bit falsely - to the girls, "I got a bit side tracked."

Shiori watched as all the girls seemed to suddenly change into totally different people the moment Tatsuya returned to them. They were all fawning over him like a child who just met their role model in truth it was rather entertaining to see just of people could wear so many faces. The teen listened quietly as a some of the ladies chattered on about whatever subject they were speaking of before she entered the room. While she viewed each girl quietly her attention never once leaving the male that sat across from her.
She had to turn her attention away from a moment though when she was addressed by one of the other ladies. "So what brings you to pay a visit with Tatsuya-chan?" Shiori just smiled sweetly at them before giving her reply. "I just wanted to see him." She couldn't help but glance in the blonde's direction for a moment. "Sugihara-san how is your tea?"

Tatsuya took his seat back, setting his tea on the table in front of him, watching Shiori - and the girls reactions - for a moment, before they started fawning over him again, asking questions to draw his attention to herself. Until one turned her attention to Shiori. Picking his tea cup up, Tatsuya smiled a little into it as the question was asked an answered.
"Nothing wrong with that," He commented, sipping at his tea, before replacing it on the saucer. "It's very good. What about you, Shiori-chan, how is your tea?" He asked. Okay, he might have been playing it up a little, he though smiling at Shiori, but his regular customers needed to realize he was allowed to talk to people other than them that were female, and weren't his family members, since pretty much all of his immediate family was, well, female.

Shiori found Tatsuya to be so interesting, but she was starting to wonder what made him want to be a host. It was a subject that she pushed away though, so she wouldn't come across as rude in his eyes. She sipped the warm liquid slowly with the natural earthy flavors dancing around on her taste buds. "It is delicious Tatsuya-san." She placed the lovely cup back on the saucer and set the pair down on the table. She crossed her legs at the ankles and placed her hands in her lap. Acting like a proper lady was something that Shiori often found difficult, but she wanted to be on her best behavior in front of the blonde host.
The annoyance radiating off the girls around her made the atmosphere rather difficult to handle. Shiori could feel the blush creeping back into her cheeks as she looked at Tatsuya. He was so cute that it left her flustered. She listened at one of the girls spoke to the blonde host about a story that they were conversing about before he went to get the tea. Perhaps it would take some of the focus off her for a bit if the subject was changed to other things. "The winter break is coming up soon. What will you be doing Tatsuya-san?"

Tatsuya chatted some with the girls, answering questions, and adding on, but mostly he was glancing over at Shiori until one of the girls drew his attention with a new question. "Winter break?" He repeated, thinking. "I don't really know yet." He said, wrinkking his nose a little as he said so. "I think Mama mentioned something about taking a vacation with Grandmother and my aunt." He said, ignoring the fact that he still called his mother 'Mama' where as most boys his age had dropped the habit before middle school. Whatever, most of the girls thought it made him cuter, and it felt more comfortable to him.
"And what about yourselves? What will you ladies be doing for the break?" He asked, turning the attention away from himself, and towards the girls, letting them speak before looking at Shiori, who had yet to speak. "And you, Shiori-chan?" Ignoring the looks from the girls at the use of the familar honorific that he really didn't use much.
